It's more than just playing music! We get your guests involved by
creating a fun-filled atmosphere for all ages to enjoy, playing
music that caters towards both the wedding party and the guests, and
leaving a special mark that will be remembered as one of the best weddings
your guests have ever been a part of.
MUSIC
An event should mirror the people involved - the bride and groom, bridal
party, family, and friends. Don't leave the choice
to a complete stranger, get involved and help create
the mood with over ten thousand popular recordings. If you can hum,
whistle, or sing it, we can find it.

Dance/Techno, and newly updated mainstream and country music updated monthly.

A good MC cannot be taken for granted. You don’t want to be stuck with the
same old DJ with no personality. Then again, you don’t want a show off who thinks that the event is
all about him. The people who
represent, SONG AND DANCE are chosen carefully by our owner, who stresses
personality and ingenuity over experience.

OUR OWNER
Rusty Baker has
provided entertainment as a disc jockey and emcee for over 12 years. He
has a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio/Television Broadcast from the University
of North Texas. He started his DJ/MC career at the Ballpark in Arlington
in 1994 and continued to progress as one of the top DJs in the Dallas/Fort
Worth area.
A disappointing performance from a DJ at his own
wedding led Rusty to explore the possibilities of creating a mobile DJ
entertainment company. In 2001, SONG AND DANCE was born. Its purpose was
to involve each guest at an event rather than to just show up and expect a
paycheck.
Word of mouth has carried SONG AND DANCE to new
lengths. This result was easy to achieve: Give everyone the best service
that you can provide and they will tell their friends. Perhaps those of
you reading this have heard about SONG AND DANCE or Rusty Baker through
your friends - or even the fun-loving girls of the Green Oaks Wedding
